Nelson Family Organics is a family owned & operated 4 acre farm on two plots of land that utilizes organic & sustainable approaches through the use of cover crops, hedgerows, crop-rotation, water conservation, beneficial insects & many other "good farm management" practices. Dustin & April Nelson together with their 3 children run all aspects of their farm & love doing it! They view farming as a chosen life-style that affords them the opportunity to work hard & provide their community with the healthiest, most nutritious produce possible. They grow an amazing array of fruits & vegetables along with perennial herbs, cut flowers and many other unique crops. Starting in early April their popular farm stand supplies the community with a steady selection of fresh seasonal produce.

Tour Description

Guided tours throughout the day. People will be able to learn about the sustainable approaches they utilize & see how they are applied.

Products for sale

Yes. People will be able to purchase items from their farm stand. A few U-Pick options will be available to the public. Pumpkin patch and children activity.
