Esperanza Community Farms

275 Lee Rd. Watsonville, CA 95076

Esperanza Community Farms is a 3-acre non-profit farm in Watsonville. They grow 20+ types of organic vegetables ranging from leafy greens to snap peas, broccolini, varieties of onions & tomatoes, beets, cilantro and corn.  Their 9-person team is diverse in age, language, socioeconomic background and technical expertise. They work together with volunteers of all ages to harvest, pack and deliver CSA baskets twice weekly to 150+ families in the Pajaro Valley. Their other two programs are a Farm-2-Cafeteria (F2C) project and a regional Food Hub that connects buyers and farmers by facilitating middle-of-the-supply chain activities. These three components work interdependently to carry out a vision of realizing an intergenerational, multilingual, equitable and local food system.
