Beeline Blooms
The DeLong family has been gardening their property in Ben Lomond for over 15 years and although their home was spared in the 2020 CZU fire, their property was not. Left with a scorched landscape and overwhelming grief at the loss of wilderness & nearby neighbors, Karla saw the potential for new growth in the now sunny flat area the fire had created.
Beeline Blooms was created out of love for community and a desire to bring beauty & healing to fire survivors and the land. Their farm has transcended through regenerative growing practices from ashes to a rainbow of 300+ dahlia varieties, a diversity of food crops & pollinators.
Beeline Blooms was featured in the Summer edition of Edible Monterey Bay Magazine, & you can visit their website for more information about their farm.
