Dos Aguilas Farm
Dos Aguilas, (Two Eagles), is an estate grown olive grove located in beautiful Corralitos where they grow five Tuscan varietals; Leccino, Maurino, Moraiolo, Frantoio and Pendolino. Each are added to their award winning blend of olive oil. In March of 2016 they were awarded the Gold Medal for Central Coast Blends at the world’s largest olive oil competition; the Los Angeles Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition. Dos Aguilas has won gold medals for three of the last six years. Their olive trees were first planted in 1999 and with subsequent plantings they currently have 600 trees growing. The climate in Santa Cruz county is unique in that the cool, foggy summers create an olive oil that is not as robust or pungent as the Tuscan olive oils grown in hotter climates. Their extra virgin olive oil is of the highest quality.
