Growing Sustainably

Join us on Monday, October 11th, (The Columbus Day weekend), from 3 - 6pm at beautiful Bird Valley Organics and Lifted Organics Farms for a deep dive into regenerative cannabis farming and how it goes beyond organic to heal, improve & remediate our environment. We’ll be touring both farms & learning about the different regenerative agricultural practices they utilize to produce their full spectrum products of exceptional quality. Their cannabis crops will be at the height of the growing season right before harvest!  Tour focus is on highlighting the rich cultural heritage of cannabis in Santa Cruz County and the people who are shaping it as a terroir craft. We will be focusing on how two local cannabis farms operate, the different ways they grow including green house, hugelkultur & additional outdoor grow methods, the incredible medicinal and spiritual qualities of the plant & how legalization is shaping the industry.

Celebrating the Harvest Season

After touring both farms, we’ll all gather for a Happy Hour / Harvest Celebration at Bird Valley Organics beautiful outdoor pergola that overlooks their farm. We're creating a fabulous charcuterie / appetizer spread using farm produce & local ingredients to pair with local wines & artisan beverages. You can expect a variety of exceptional non-psychoactive creative appetizers & beverages!
