Sierra Azul Nursery & Garden specializes in plants & gardens for California's Mediterranean climate. They carry plants from around the world for use in water-conserving gardens & landscapes. Owner Jeff Rosendale began this effort during the historic drought of 1975-76 & has been working their 6.5 acres site for 30 years. The nursery collaborates with the Pajaro Valley Arts Council for their much loved annual "Sculpture Is" event that gives artists a place to display their work in the nurseries beautiful garden setting. This year over 100 sculptures from 50+ artists are on display June 1 - October 31st in their 2-acre demonstration garden. The Rosendales hold a vision of their gardens as a place to link with the natural world and it's many wonderful contrasting elements.
